Chandrakanta is a fantasy love story of Chandrakanta, is making a comeback on the small screen from March 4 on Life Ok channel. The story is based on Devaki Nandan Khatri’s novel of the same name. The show telecasted in the 90s and gained huge popularity.
The show was firstly telecast on Doordarshan and then audience enjoyed it later on Star Plus and Song Tv. The show is making a comeback with new faces and approach. This time the name of this series is Prem ya Paheli- Chandrakanta starring Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Khanna in main roles. The show will telecast on 8 p.m on weekends.
The show will replace TV show Khunkhar- SuperCops vs Supervillains. The show Khunkhar was supposed to be a 26 episode series, wrap up prematurely. The upcoming show will be touted as a big ticket show for the channel since it is competing with a rival channel, which is also making the same show by the same name. Let’s hope the show will win many hearts as the 90s show did.
