No Salt, No Sugar For Fanney Khan’s Anil Kapoor

It was on Sunday when Anil Kapoor proves that age is just a number. This 60-years-old handsome actor is the biggest motivation for all the new gen actors. On Sunday the first look of Anil Kapoor was revealed from the much talked-about movie Fanney Khan on social media.

The actor, who Instagrammed a mid-shot of himself with sexy salt and pepper hair look in a first poster, followed up with a caption, “Think you who know #FanneyKhan is? Think again! This is just the tip of the iceberg… With Fanney, the only thing you can expect is the unexpected!”

The actor looks too young to be old in the pictures and not only this daughter Sonam Kapoor also shared a couple of pictures from the photoshoot. The actor in the series of photographs looks intense, handsome and charming. No doubt, the actor is looking grey’t in this salt and pepper grey look.

Production house KriArj Entertainment and nephew Arjun Kapoor also shared the pictures and captioned it, “50 shades of black and grey for Anil Kapoor as #FanneyKhan. Make sure you look twice!” is how Mr Kapoor’s on screen look was introduced while Arjun added: “It’s all in the mind, black white or grey, the hair colour doesn’t matter. A child at heart with the mind of a teenager.”

The physique didn’t come easy for the 60-years-old actor and to get the one Kapoor had to adopt a special diet. As per a source, the actor plays a role of a struggling musician and for it, he has to look like one, “Anil was required to achieve a haggard look for the musical. To perfect the look, he completely went off salt and sugar for 20 days.”


Talking about the latest look of Fanney Khan, the 60-years-old actor said, “Fanney Khan’s similarity with Kamal Mehra (his character in Dil Dhadakne Do) ends with the salt-and-pepper hair. The difference in their personalities and circumstances makes these two characters poles apart.”

Fanney Khan is the story which explores the relationship between a father and his 16-years-old daughter and also tackles the issue of body-shaming. The film is produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, which also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Fanney Khan is believed to be a remake of Dutch film Everybody’s Famous.
