It was only yesterday when the first poster of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ came out and now the makers of the film launched the trailer of the movie. The film features Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao, they dropped the trailer online after a special trailer launch event in Mumbai.
Bareilly Ki Barfi is helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and written by husband Nitesh Tiwari. The film is set in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly city and based on a French book, titled ‘Ingredients of Love’.
The two-and-a half-minute video sees the trio taking us on a crazy and joyful ride with quirky UP one-liners and a storyline that will definitely leave you intrigued.
Director-writer adapted the book into the script for the film with co-writer Shreyas Jain, they also have changed the location of the story from France to Uttar Pradesh.
In a recent trailer launch, Ayushmann was also present, who was all praises for the script of the film. he said, “I always looked forward to a film like this as Nitesh Tiwari could be the only one who could write such a script.”
The trailer looks like that the film is full of fun, with a bag full of sarcasm, quirks, wit, and glamour. ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is slated to release on August 18 and will clash at the box-office with ‘Haseena Parkar’.
