Today Commando 2: The Black Money Trail has been released at the box office. The movie is a hardcore action film and is a sequel of 2013 released Commando. Commando 2 is directed by Deven Bhojani and produced by Vipul Amrutlal. Starring Vidyut Jammwal as captain Karan Veer Singh, Adah Sharma as inspector Bhavna Reddy, Esha Gupta in a negative role as Vicky Chaddha and Freddy Daruwala as Bakhtawar.
The film which revolves around black money, the topic which is in discussion nowadays. The movie is also about the same, where they bring black money back from the foreign country and with the help of hacking they transfer it into farmer’s account.
Now let’s see the movie from my prospective. This movie is really very filmy and if we talk about the story. The plot of the film is good but Ritesh Shah’s screenplay is very poor. Despite having a good plot, the movie fails to get a good grip on the viewers. In spite of having a tremendous action hero Vidyut Jamwal, the film looses completely.
They failed to create the thrill and even reveled the suspense that it doesn’t look like a suspense. The movie has a poor screenplay and averagely directed. If we talk about acting-Vidyut’s acting was average but the action was formidable, he did a lot of hard work for his role which we can clearly see on the screen, where Freddy Daruwala’s expression was hard to chase.
Adah Khan was there only for glamour quotient and her acting was also not up to the mark. They tried to make Adah’s role a comic one but her comic timing was amateur and without any reason Hyderabadi accent was imposed on her which may irritate you.
The cinematography of the film is good, they had captured the locations of Malaysia and Bangkok very well. We can clearly see the Chirantan Das’s skill. If you love action film then this movie is for you, otherwise, there is nothing in this movie. I will give 2 out 5 rating to Commando 2.
