Daddy (1989)

Featuring Pooja Bhatt, her debut movie, as a daughter and Anupam Kher as an alcoholic father who has kept away from his daughter of years. Daddy is one of those gems to go back to time and again. The movie shows how with her love and cares the two solves the issues of years and give a beautiful meaning to the relationship. Anupam Kher aced the role and set the benchmark for years.
Khamoshi: The Musical (1996)
A beautiful piece of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie shows that love and emotions between a parent and child do not rely only on verbal aspects.
