The year 2017 hasn’t been a great year for Kapil Sharma and the fans of The Kapil Sharma Show. After the mid-air fight in March between Kapil and Sunil Grover, nothing good is happening in the life of Kapil.
First the fight, then his team walked out of the show, low TRPs, bad health, cancellation of shoots with big films star cast, etc. Kapil faced a lot in past six months. And now recently the news of Kapil Sharma show going off-air have came up.
Late last night, in a sudden, but expected move, Sony decided to pull the plug on Kapil Sharma’s show. To confirm the same, channel’s official spokesperson says, “Kapil has been under the weather due to which we have mutually agreed to take a short break. Once he has recovered completely, we will start shooting again. We value our relationship with Kapil and wish him a speedy recovery.”
We guess the decision is right, for the past few months, the show had seen a lot of falling viewership and Kapil due to his health and conditions cancelled or postponded many shoots with Bollywood biggies.
The actor-comedian had been doing no-show on the set besides keeping celebrity guests waiting for him for hours. Even an industry insiders state that his return is doubtful and it amounts to geeting the boot.
Recently, the shoot was slated with the team of ‘Baadshaho’ and Kapil didn’t showed up. After being on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show for about 15 minutes, Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta stormed out when told that he was unreachable.
We hope Kapil will get well soon and get back soon too, for his fans.
