After the original Simar, Deepika Kakar, who quit the show the makers of the show finds her replacement. Deepika Kakar who was part of this show for seven years, quit it because she wants to concentrate on her personal life.
The new Simar will be Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar, the actress has been on a break for six years and is returning to the small screen to play new Simar in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’.
Keerti has worked in many popular soaps and movies. The actress debuted in TV serial ‘Kammal’ as Kammal, then she played Kanan in ‘Kahin Toh Hoga and did the shows like ‘Sindoor Tere Naam Ka’, and ‘Saat Phere’. Keerti got married to her co-star and actor Sharad Kelkar in June 2005 and blessed with a baby girl named Kesha.
The actress was last seen on Television in serial ‘Choti Bahu’ in the character of Mrinalini. Now finally after six-years, she is making a comeback. Sasural Simar Ka aired on Colors channel, Monday to Sunday at 7.30 pm.
