Welcome to yet another episode of LEADERS TALK. As you know, in this program we welcome the new entrepreneurs who are flying high to touch the colours of the rainbow in the entrepreneurship world. Ravindra Gautam’s target is to bring the people from every field in this program so that the young people can be benefitted and learn from their experience.
We have the Bollywood actor Rahul Tanwar in the episode.
Ravindra Gautam: How did your journey start in the film-line ?
Rahul Tanwar: First of all, thanks for inviting me to this show. If I talk about my journey, then I would say that every day is a new beginning to learn. I still remember when I was in school – 12th standard, I had to perform on a stage for which I prepared so hard. But I couldn’t perform for some reason, for which I felt a lot. Om Puri Ji gave a spark and encouraged me a lot.
Ravindra Gautam: When did you get your first break?
Rahul Tanwar: In 2010. Aamir Khan inspired me.
Ravindra Gautam: We would like to know about your projects.
Rahul Tanwar: I started in 2012 with an Indo-American movie ‘Unfreedom’ starring Victor Banerjee and Adil Hussain. I was the assistant director of this film.
I also worked with an Award-winning director Neeraj Bhasin on an international project.
Later I also came in Advertisement Industry- and worked as creating director in ad-agencies. I created many ad films and corporate films.
I formed my own company called ‘Inventive Films’ in 2018. The first film we made was Parikshit Sahni Ji starrer ‘Who Am I’….It was shown in Toronto Film Festival. This was both written and directed by me.
Ravindra Gautam: What do you think are the challenges the newcomers or entrants face in this field as they all have dreams to be stars.
Rahul Tanwar: People don’t explore themselves, they don’t have patience. They have to identify their own quality according to your audience.
Ravindra Gautam: How should these aspirants get the opportunities?
Rahul Tanwar: People are not preparing themselves well. I want to give many new-comers an opportunity. People have to believe in themselves.
Ravindra Gautam: Tell us about your future projects.
Rahul Tanwar: I am doing a feature film named ‘Katakyuchi’ (means Blood Revenge) which is an Indo-Japanese film, that is produced by me only. All are new actors in this film. I gave this opportunity to them.
The newcomers are welcome to contact me. I want to open the institutes to train such people of the society who cannot afford to learn.
The whole team of LEADERS TALK wishes Rahul Tanwar all the very best in his future endeavours.
