The execution of the punishments should be done in public : KK Agarwal

There is plate-full of inequality in our society. Be it in terms of food, finance, education . Some people get lavish food and some are dying of hunger; some doesn’t have money and some are thinking where to spend the excess of it; some struggle to get education and some are spending heavy on their children’s education. Who is to blame for this....Government?

Welcome to another episode of Root Cause series, where we meet people who are doing so much for society. We have Shri K.K. Agarwal of Responsive Industries.

There is a plate-full of inequality in our society. Be it in terms of food, finance, education. Some people get lavish food and some are dying of hunger; some don’t have money and some are thinking where to spend the excess of it; some struggle to get the education and some are spending heavily on their children’s education. Who is to blame for this….Government? In today’s world, there are many entrepreneurs and industrialists who are working towards this cause of helping the needy through philanthropy. There are many organizations who extend their help to the deprived section of the society. Rotary International is one of them.

Shri K.K. Agarwal is into philanthropy from his generations. His grandfather and forefather were into social service and he also continued this tradition to help the deprived and needy section of the society. He feels happy to help others and see smiles on needy people’s faces. He and his family also extended help to poor people by generating funds, and other required things for the daughters’ wedding. He and his father measure a person’s success by how much happiness one has brought into other people’s lives. They are of the view that instead of donating in temples, such money should be used in serving humanity.

Shri K.K. Agarwal is a member of Rotary Club of Nariman Point, Mumbai from many years where he worked on girls’ education, child education by adopting schools and inculcating English medium education in them. The Rotary club also donated computers in schools. His club also donated ECG machines and Dialysis machines in the hospitals so that the poor people may get free treatment. They also started giving mid-day meals having quality food in JJ hospital throughout the year.

According to K.K. Agarwal in the crime cases especially rape cases, for which the courts take years to give punishments, these punishments should be spread in public and be live telecasted, so that no person should dare to commit such dreadful crime. The execution of the punishments should be done in public and spread through media. Similarly, he is of the belief that for the people who indulge themselves in terrorism, their families should be focussed in media to show how they suffer and get impacted because of the terrorist activities by their family members. If such things are spread in public, then it will create fear among people and they will think twice before committing any such crimes.

He says that education is the prime area where everyone in the society should focus on so that the right use of every information should be there whereby violence will be eliminated. KK Agarwal also highlighted the need of sex education that should be imparted in the right manner so that crime should be negated.

His club also promotes computer education to keep children of municipal schools up to the mark with technology. The knowledge of technology is very rapid and fast.

K.K. Agarwal is a philanthropist who studies the pains of others. He is fully indulged in helping the needy people so that they get a good education, good healthcare, and healthy food. He advises people to use money wisely and spend it on social cause.
