These days Censor Board is not being nice to the filmmakers but in the midst of this jam, Dhanush’s upcoming film VIP 2 has already passed with a ‘U’ certification. The film also marks Kajol’s South Industry comeback movie, but with all good, there is a bad news too. As we will still have to wait longer as the film’s release date has been pushed to August.
VIP 2 is the sequel of 2014 released hit movie- Velaiilla Pattadhari. It is to be said that the cast of the previous film will return in the sequel, joining them this time actress Kajol. As we told you earlier, with this movie Bollywood actress Kajol made her comeback in South cinema after 20 years.
This corporate drama film has been helmed by Soundarya Rajnikanth, and it will be fun watching Dhanush and Kajol locking horns in this film. The film will have Telugu and a Hindi release.
The film is slated to release in August.
