Three Years Of Modi Government-A Rich Government But Pauper Public

On May 26, 2017, three years have passed of the Narendra Modi’s Government in the center. People said in the first year, that it will be too early to say anything, in the second year people, said that making a change is not a magic wand’s trick, now three years has been passed, and the public is saying- if not now then when?

Remember, what Prime Minister Modi has said, if I will not be able to bring black money back in 100 days, then you are free to give me punishment. Within a year, I will scavenge the criminals from the politics. He also said you have given them (UPA Government) 60 years, give me just 60 months.

I will give you ‘India’ of your dreams.

But what happened? Homecoming, assaults by cow savers, a death of Akhlaq and Pehlu Khan, beating up Dalits and Muslims, killing of security forces in Kashmir and Chhattisgarh, lies about black money, etc and etc. Two extreme dramatic and stupid decisions like ‘Surgical Strike’ and ‘Demonetisation’ has also been made, whose detailed and reliable results have now come to the forefront of the public.

In 2016-17 most seizures were violated and so far, the seizure violation by Pakistan has crossed 300. Even after currency ban, no black money has come out. On contrary, the economic pace of the country became very slow. That means country do not get anything out of these two decisions. Of course, BJP got the emotional benefit of both these decisions. It seems that the purpose of these decisions taken under the barricade of nationwide was also the same.

In the last 3 years, the Modi government has launched many schemes like Digital India, Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Make In India, Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana, Sukanya Samrudhi Yojana, Start-Up India Scheme, and launched many more schemes for the common man and blabbered a lot about it.

But 90 percent of the plans-announcements proved to be a big fail, be it Make In India, Start-Up India, Swachh Bharat, Namami Gange, 100 Smart City, Pakistan-China, Black Money, 15 Lakh, 1 million jobs per year, Section 370, Temple building, one and a half times the crop ombudsman or decrease in inflation.

Assesses the achievements of the Modi government, based on their achievements like Start-Up India, Stand Up India, Digital India, it is clear that these schemes have flopped. The purpose of ‘Make in India’ is to increase industrial production in India. But statistics show that before Modi became PM, the growth in industrial production in May 2014 was 4.6 percent, which has dropped to 2.7 percent in May 2017. According to trade, India is at number 130 in the world.

Since demonetisation, large-scale layoffs are underway in the major sector, like manufacturing, trade, transport, housing and restaurants, IT/BPO, telecom, banking, education, and health. Be it Infosys or L & T, Tata Group or Reliance and Birla Company are reducing their employees. According to the report of the International Labor Organization of the United Nations (UN), compared to the previous year, unemployment is high in 2017-18.

In this situation, the question is, what changes were made in the country from the schemes and plans of Prime Minister? Has Make In India Campaign increased the investment in India and has created new employment opportunities in India?

Has India become cleaner after the Clean India campaign? Is the situation of villages improved by the Adarsh Gram Yojana? Whether Ganga got clean in past three years? From the campaign to build toilets, our country has become free from the pestilence of open-defecation?

There is no answer to all these questions.

Not only this, the government is also badly failed on the issue of availability of employment and reducing inflation. Unemployment has increased wildly in last three years in the country. There is recession everywhere and property market is panting. The consumer market is badly in the grip of recession.

Opportunities for employment are being restricted, Inflation is on the sky and dollars are constantly growing compared to rupees. Yet it is being said, that things which haven’t been done in past 70 years, it was done in 3 years.

All this is a perfect example of Hindi proverb ‘Ek Toh Chori Upar Se Seena Zori’, bolstering oneself even upon doing something wrong.
