One of the much-awaited movies of 2017 ‘Naam Shabana’ has released at the box-office today, which is the prequel of 2015 released movie ‘Baby’. The movie is produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia, directed by Shivam Bair and in lead role, there is Taapsee Pannu, Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher.
As I told you that it is a prequel of Baby, so it is obvious that it is a spy action thriller film. The plot of the film is like, Manoj Bajpayee form a team to catch an international criminal Tony (Prithviraj Kumar), in which he hire a new agent (Taapsee Pannu). In the movie, it is also shown that how spy agencies hire field agents by tracking thousands of people and then hire 3-4 agents.
If we talk about film’s story, it is a perfect spy agent story and in which they show how an agent catch and kill a criminal, in this movie they have to catch Tony and kill him. Film’s title apparently proves that Shabana will lead the operation. The screenplay of the film is okay, the first half of the movie is bit slow but the second half is agile and won’t let you get up from your seats.
I didn’t understand why songs are important in this kind of movies because songs make the movie slow. Overall screenplay and direction are fine. Now we talk about the performance of the actors, everyone is perfect in their role and performed very well. Taapsee can be tomorrow’s superstar and did action scenes very well. My best wishes are with her.
The cinematography of the film is surpassing and shots have been taken according to the film. You will going to enjoy this film and my rating to this film is 3 out of 5.
