Akhil Akkineni’s marriage with Shriya Bhupal was called-off, the news made everyone surprised. All of us become curious to know the reason behind it, especially when the guest were invited and all the arrangements have been done.
The guests that were to fly down for the grand destination wedding in Italy were asked to cancel their bookings. About 700 guests were expected from top industrialist to celebs of Bollywood and South.
Finally, the reason of their marriage called –off, as per the reports in TOI, the couple was spotted together at a recent engagement in the city (probably his brother- Naga Chaitanya) and the looked happy. So what can be the reason, what went wrong in last few weeks?
Turns out, as per reports the couple had been having constant fights and arguments, even though they are engaged and were dating for 2-3 years. Reportedly, they had a huge fight at the Hyderabad airport recently and it seems like things haven’t been the same since. Another reason point of Akhil developing cold feet, he realised that he was too young to get married.
According to the source, Nagarjuna is not happy with his son’s decision and has locked himself up indoors as he is depressed with the situation. Both the families tried to counsel the couple, but it seems they have made their decision. The couple got engaged in December last year in a grand ceremony. All the well wishers and fans still hope and wish that they come back together.
Akhil was last seen in VV Vinayak’s Akhil and will be seen in Vikram Kumar’s next. According to reports, he has gone to Goa and when he returns, he plans to get back to work. While Shriya is a fashion designer and actresses like Alia Bhatt, Hansika Motwani, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet and many more, were seen in her creations.
