After releasing several posters of the film, makers of upcoming Indian romantic comedy film Half Girlfriend released its first official trailer. The Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer movie’s trailer dropped online on Monday morning, which vanishes our Monday blues.
The film is directed by Mohit Suri, which is an adaption of Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name. The story explores the ‘in-between’ status of today’s relationship.
The romantic drama will see the fresh pairing of Arjun and Shraddha up on the silver screen. The trailer gives an overview of their bittersweet love story. Arjun portrays the role of Madhav Jha, a Bihari boy, seems to have delivered a promising performance.
Where Shraddha, on the other hand, essays the role of Riya Somani, a rich Delhi girl chasing her dreams. The two have a common string which binds them- basketball and that is where it all starts.
The tagline of the film is the apt description of the story line, ‘Dost Se Zyada, Girlfriend Se Kun’. The movie is slated to release on May 19.
