A week back the trailer of the most awaited movie Baahubali: The Conclusion was launched. The trailer has everything fans expected to be and lot more. Some are saying that Baahubali 2’s trailer is more entertaining than the first part’s trailer. Every aspect of the trailer was impressive be it intense war sequences, picturesque landscape or the characters.
In just seven days the trailer crossed about 87.5 million views in 4 languages combined. As the Hindi trailer of SS Rajamouli’s movie contributed to 27 million views is nothing sort of phenomenal act. Even before its release, the movie is making profits as part of its theatrical and distribution rights.
But there is a surprising news, on the satellite front Rajinikanth’s 2.0 beats Prabhas’s Baahubali 2. The movie has ranked in a whopping amount of its satellite rights. The news is not at all surprising as this is a Thalaiva movie.
As per the reports by Sreedhar Pillai, the satellite deal for Baahubali 2 has garnered a whopping of Rs 78 crores whereas 2.0 earned Rs 110 crore.
On it, the creative head of Lyca productions told PTI, “It’s an unprecedented deal. The price of combined Indian satellite rights for the film for all the languages (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu) is Rs 110 crore. We are very happy to associate with Zee Network for the project,”
After Baahubali, 2.0 is the most expensive film being made till date. The budget of 2.0 is Rs 450 crores. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also features superstar Akshay Kumar and gorgeous Amy Jackson. Baahubali 2 will be release on April 28 and Rajnikanth’s 2.0 will release around October.
