National Award winning actor Rajkumar Rao has given many splendid performances and he has done it again. This time in the intriguing thriller survival drama ‘Trapped’. Rajkumar Rao is playing a character who got stuck in a Mumbai apartment.
After teasing the audience with a number of the unusual posters, finally, the makers release the first official trailer of the movie online on Wednesday. We can see in the trailer, ‘Trapped’ is a survival-drama-thriller about a man (played by Rajkumar Rao) who gets trapped in his own apartment in one of the Mumbai’s high-rise buildings with no escape route.
His efforts and attempts to get himself out of the apartment and fatal situation form the crux of the story. There is a lot of riding on the able shoulders of this talented actor as the trailer does enough to pique the interest of the audience, all within the confined area of an apartment.
The movie is being shot in a month in Mumbai and is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane who gave us great movies like Udaan, Lootera, Dev.D and many more as a director. The film is produced by Phantom Films.
The film has its world premiere at the 18th MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival last year and receives critical acclaim. The movie is set to release on 17 March 2017.
