Meri Pyaari Bindu is an upcoming Indian rom-com film starring Ayushmaan Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra. The film is directed by Akshay Roy under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
Since the day of inception, the film has been teasing all of us and is continuing to do so. First, they showed us the glimpse of Parineeti singing the song and finally a few days ago they released Parineeti’s debut song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’.
Then the makers of the film released its poster and teaser.
And today its official trailer has been released but in the end, it reads chapter 2 releasing on April 4. This seems unusual as something like this never happened before.
The marketing team of the film has come up with an innovative strategy for the film. Instead of releasing one official trailer the team will release five short teasers which represent five chapters from the character’s lives.
In the movie, Ayushmaan plays a role of a writer and Parineeti will portray a role of a singer. The film traces their 30 years old bond from childhood to adulthood, and in these trailers, they will show it. After the teaser release, the first chapter is released today.
Chapter 1 which is named ‘Samosa and Chutney’ showcased their childhood when Bindu and Abhimanyu, which is released today and in coming next 4 consecutive days the remaining four teaser or chapters will release.
On this producer, Maheesh Sharma told that it is not only an unusual strategy but the best way to showcase a glimpse of what the film is all about. The film Meri Pyaari Bindu will hit theaters on May 12.
