Movie Review Of Hindi Medium: Irrfan Khan, Saba Qamar, Deepak Dobriya

Today’s second release is Hindi Medium and it has been produced under T-Series banner, directed by Saket Choudhary and features Irrfan Khan, Saba Qamar and Deepak Dobriyal. The movie is a satire on Delhi’s unethical school admission system, a special class of the society and administration that how Right To Education Act is being misused.
The comparison between rich and poor has been picturised beautifully. The plot of the film is about a family, where Meeta aka Meethu (Saba Qamar) lives with his husband Raj Batra (Irrfan Khan). Raj cannot speak English, where Meeta wants her daughter to get educated like her. Due to this, they shifted to Vasant Vihar (one of the posh areas of Delhi) but unable to get the admission under general quota. They apply to EWS and shifts to Bharat Nagar from that place.

Finally, their daughter gets admission, but then Irrfan realizes that to get his daughter admission he has taken the right of a poor person. Then he gets in the attempt to give that poor person his right back. But will he be able to give that right, what happens to his daughter then, how a rich spends his life in a poor settlement, etc. To know all this you have to watch the movie, as I am here to review it not to tell you the story.

Let’s see the film from my perception; plot of the film is good and so is the screenplay. Dialogues of the film are also good; the direction of Saket Choudhary is okay. When it comes to performance and acting, Irrfan Khan did a great job and even Saba Qamar and Deepak Dobriyal performed well. The cinematography of the film is good; overall it is a one-time watch movie. My rating for this movie is 2.5 out of 5.
