Today’s second release was Meri Pyaari Bindu, featuring Parineeti Chopra as Bindu Shankarnarayana and Ayushmaan Khurrana as Abhimanyu Roy in the lead roles. The movie is of Yash Raj banner and directed by Akshay Roy.
The plot of the film is like this, Abhimanyu and Bindu are neighbours since childhood, they become friends and complete their education together. In between all this Abhimanyu fall in love with Bindu who wants to become a renowned singer, and due to some family issues they both get seperated.
On one hand, after doing many jobs Abhimanyu becomes a writer. After this Bindu and Abhimanyu meets again to get married and Abhimanyu tries bringing both the families together so that they can marry each other.
The story seems to be very easy but when you watch the film it is totally different and takes test of your mind and intellegence. So if you want to know if Bindu and Abhimanyu got married then you have to watch the movie because I am here to review it not to tell you the story.
The story of the film is good but the screenplay is totally rubbish and so is the direction. I can’t understand that he made the movie for entertainment purpose or to check the audience’s IQ. So if it is the case then I got failed in the Akshay Roy’s IQ test and he fails in mine.
If we talk about performances and acting, then there is nothing new in their acting but I liked Ayushmaan’s performace. Cinematography is also okay and there is not even a single song to remember.
As I said the film is made to check your IQ, even you can test yourself. Film goes into flashback and present time so many times that you get confused. And on this note, my rating to this movie is 1.5 out of 5.
