Tubelight is an upcoming historical war drama film starring Salman Khan and the film is written and directed by Kabir Khan. Apart from Salman Khan, the film features Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Om Puri and Shah Rukh Khan (in a cameo).
The film is set against the backdrop of 1962 Indo-China war and has been produced by Salman Khan and Kabir Khan. The makers of the film released countdown poster teaser five days before the release of the teaser, which created a huge buzz and finally yesterday they released the official trailer of Tubelight.
The teaser is fresh and blissfully captivating, where Salman plays a naïve character Laxman in the film. Laxman believes that faith is like a tubelight, it takes time to light up but when it does, it illuminates everything around it.
The film has been shot in Ladakh and Manali. In the teaser, we have seen Sohail Khan as a soldier, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu as the leading lady and child actor Matin Rey Tangu. The teaser is interesting and makes everyone emotional. Not only this, Bollywood celebs took to Twitter to congratulate and wish Salman Khan and team for the teaser release.
Tubelight is slated to release on Eid this year, on 23 June 2017.
