Soundarya Rajnikanth and her brother-in-law Dhanush has completed the shoot of VIP 2 aka Velaiilla Pattadhari 2. To give blessings to the cast superstar Rajnikanth landed on the sets.

In another tweet, she also thanked the star of her movie, Dhanush, “Thank u D sir I’ve learnt & am learning so much from you !!! #D34 #MyMentor”

The movie also features Bollywood superstar Kajol, where she plays a suave businesswoman in a pivotal role. The film will mark as her comeback to Tamil cinema, as she was last seen in 1997 Tamil film Minsara Kanavu.
The actress said she had a great time working with her director Soundarya. Kajol said, “She (Soundarya) is great. She is a wonderful person. She has been absolutely amazing to work with and I have had a great time working with her. The role is something I am really very happy about. I really can’t reveal much about the film, as I have got strict orders from my director not to talk about the film.”
VIP 2 is slated to release in June 2017.
