These Popular Television Reality Shows Are Coming Back

Television reality shows are the best to take a break from the regular Saas-Bahu’s opera. Every channel serves various kinds of reality shows, but there are some reality shows which is equivalent to monotonous daily soaps. All that crying, emotional stuff, satire, someone being a villain, etc, etc.

But there are still some reality shows which serves great and genuine content for the entertainment of the audience. One of them is Khatron Ke Khiladi which is soon going to be air on Colors channel. Apart from it, there are some more reality shows coming back to entertain us. So let’s see which all are these TV reality shows making the come back.

Kaun Banega Crorepati

One of the biggest television reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with season 9. KBC’s first the season launched in 2000, except for season 2, Big B hosted all its season and now he is back again with season 9. Recently the makers and Song TV released its promo.

In the promo, Amitabh Bachchan says, “Ji haan shuru ho jaiyein 17 June raat 9 baje se, shuru honge mere sawaal aur apke KBC registration (Yes please get ready as my questions would be ready and registration would be open from June 17, 9 PM onward).”

KBC came at a time that marked the changing phase in Indian TV and the game benefited to both the makers and the participants. The show was started in 2002 on Star Plus and afterward, Sony TV took over. The show is the Indian version of international show ‘Who Will Become A Millionaire’.

Bigg Boss

A few months back India got its 10th Winner of Bigg Boss season 10, a commoner Manveer Gujar. Now, as per recent reports, it is to be said that Salman Khan will return to host the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’.

Colors channel CEO Raj Nayak, took to Twitter and announce the news. He wrote, “Here we go all @BiggBoss fans. Auditions open for #Biggboss season 11 with @BeingSalmanKhan presented by @iamappyfizz ! @nadiachauhan”

Bigg Boss is again one of the most loved and popular TV reality shows where celebs invited at the Bigg Boss house to live together for 100 days, with no connection with the outer world.

The shows, with every season, comes up with a theme and in the last season, the show opened the gate for common people from pan India. It is the most controversial TV reality show of India. This season too will open its door to comments. The show initially telecasted at Sony TV from 2006-2007 and from 2008 Colors took over. The show is the Indian version of international show ‘Big Brother’.

Dus Ka Dum

The another Indian TV reality show 10 ka Dum aired on Song TV in the year 2008 and its second season in 2009. The show was telecasted on Sony TV and hosted by Salman Khan. It is the Indian version of international reality show ‘Power of 10’.

The show is going to launch its third season soon which will be hosted by Khiladi Kumar. Yes, Akshay Kumar replaced Salman Khan and the reason behind it is Salman’s association with rivalry channel Colors for past many years. The another reason behind the replacement is complication around Salman’s remuneration and dates forced the channel to consider Akshay over Salman.

Currently, many old and new reality shows are telecasting on different channels and we can’t wait for these three to make a comeback, especially Kaun Banega Crorepati. It’s last season, season 8 was telecasted in 2014.
