One of the much-awaited show of the year Sarabhai vs Sarabhai has finally gone on air and is funnier than before. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Take 2 made a comeback as a web series on Hot Star, produced by JD Majethia and written and directed by Aatish Kapadia and Deven Bhojani.
The show went off air in 2006 due to low rating but re-runs soon achieved a cult status among the audience. This is the reason why the makers came back with season 2 after 11 years Hot Star last night. Fans were excited since the time the makers had have announced the second season. The teaser and posters released by the makers were also promising. And now finally the first episode, which evokes both laughter and nostalgia.
The first episode of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Take 2 shows the Sarabhai family seated inside the bus and soon revealed the reason why family landed inside the bus, one because of Monisha and second a drunk driver.
The show has everything from the first season, good writing, great set of actors and their brilliant performance. The first episode was totally fresh but the things which haven’t changed is Rosesh funny noises, Maya and Monisha’s fight over silly, a number of things, and Indravadan’s nature to make light of everything Rosesh says and does.
These are the things for which audience and fans are waiting for. The show has taken 7 years of leap which introduced Guddu aka Arnab to us. Guddu is Monisha and Sahil’s son, who too played his part well. The best part is that the first episode went well and have not let us down, and want us to wait eagerly for the next episode.
