The first episode of the much-talked show of Star Plus ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ has been telecasted yesterday. It is the story of two successful people falling in love. But do you know, the show is making actress Alia Bhatt happy and the reason behind her happiness is her mother.
Yes, you read it right. Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan is playing a pivotal role in the show which makes Alia happy. She is glad that her mother returned to the small screen after a long time.
Soni was part of best shows like Buniyaad, Saahil, Junoon and Aur Phir Ek Din. She was last seen on screen in Aisa Des Hai Mera in 2006. In an interview, she said her daughters Shaheen and Alia encouraged her to get back to acting.
Alia is overjoyed about her mother’s new venture and took to twitter to share her excitement. She tweeted, “Wohoo finally! All the best team ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’. So glad to have my mommy back on TV,” Alia posted on Twitter on Monday.

Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan who has been the part of the industry for over three decades feels that Indian films are moving ahead with new ideas but this can’t be said about the country’s TV show. She also shares the fact why she kept herself away from TV and did films and web series was she didn’t find the right content.
Apart from it, Kajol’s mother Tanuja will be soon seen in ‘Aarambh’. While ‘Love Ka Hai Intezaar’ also features Sanjeeda Sheikh and Keith Sequeira and aired on Star Plus at 2.30 pm.
