The Comedian Upasana Singh is popularly known for his appearance in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as Pinky Bua which became a household name after Kapil’s show. She was seen in a character of Kapil’s 22-year old hot and sexy aunt in the show.
After Kapil’s previous show titled “Comedy Nights With Kapil,’ Upasana joined his rival Krushna Abhishek in Comedy Nights Live instead of returning back to Kapil and his team. Later, she came back to Kapil’s new show due to creative differences with Krushna.
However, she has been left Kapil Sharma and his team alone and joined hands with Krushna. Recently, she shot an episode of The Drama Company with him.
She left the show because she was not happy with her role on Kapil’s show. Upasana told, “I have shot for one episode of Krushna’s show because of my association with its co-producer, Preeti Simoes. I would love to join them if they have a good role for me. I haven’t shot with Kapil for over two months now. There is no fight with him. It’s just that my character wasn’t shaping up as expected. At this stage in my career, I don’t work for money. What is important is satiating my creativity as an artiste. I would mouth the same lines in all the episodes that I shot with Kapil. How will I perform if I don’t get good lines?”
Upasana Singh added she shares a good bond with Kapil Sharma and shows her concern about his health due to which he is in the news of cancelling the shoots.
“I have heard about five shoots being cancelled. It pains me to see Kapil’s show reach this point after being number one for so long. It never happened back then. There was a collective effort from the entire cast to make the show a hit and I never expected it to go downhill. I think Kapil is under immense stress and tension due to overwork load.” Upasana said.
